Privacy Policy

ClearUp respects your privacy. Here's exactly what we do and don't do with your data.

Photos never leave your device.

Every photo you take is stored locally on your iPhone in the app's private storage. Photos are not uploaded to any server, ever. We cannot see your photos. No one outside your phone can see them.

Only your text gets sent to our AI.

When ClearUp generates feedback for you, your text logs (the chips you tapped, the notes you typed, and the dates) are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to find patterns. Photos are never sent. Your name, email, or any personal identifier is never sent.

No accounts, no tracking.

ClearUp does not require you to sign in. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not use analytics services that profile you.

What we collect on our end.

Nothing on a per-user basis. We may keep aggregate, anonymous usage counts (total app launches, crashes) via Apple's standard App Store Connect analytics, which Apple anonymizes.

Subscription billing.

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple handles your payment information directly. ClearUp does not receive your payment details.

Your rights.

Delete the app at any time and all your data is wiped from your device. Use the in-app data wipe to clear everything manually. Cancel your subscription via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
